Weed while only a “soft drug” compared to the likes of cocaine, heroin and others can still be an exceedingly addictive and detrimental drug.  Many people who long to give up smoking pot find their lives revolve around pot and it becomes a habit that fills any opening in their lives.  It can become such an essential part of their lives that they feel just like they are living in a haze the majority of the time and are missing out on some very important parts of life.  The first thing to understand when learning the best way to quit smoking weed is that the drug isn’t chemically addictive!

Giving up can be accompanied by agitation and depression as you learn how to live life without the steady smoking which can appear soothing and comforting but only because it was a part of your routine.  The trick for some of the people is to find something to replace this addiction, glaringly not another addiction but something creative and fulfilling.  Something that makes you content without an acute high you can try and latch onto as an alternative. 

So the easiest way to give up smoking weed in a nutshell!  You have to realize you do not desire weed but just desire it!  Once you learn to acclimatize to a life without marijuana you’ll find you can quit smoking pot forever!
