What is infrared cooking, and why is it becomes so popular? The factor that makes infrared cooking different to other forms of cooking is that most forms of cooking warm the air and the air cooks the food by a transfer of heat. With infrared cooking , however , the infrared radiation, much in the same way as that of a microwave, heats the food directly. This ends in faster cooking and the retention of juices, making meets juicier and not dried out.
As with any radiation methodology of cooking, there's a question as to whether this meant that has any side-effects or causes any health related issues. These concerns would be in line with those this question the safety of microwave cooking.
The truth is however that infrared cooking is utilized in a lot of the finer steakhouses, and much of the heat generated by an out of doors fire, such as the camp fire, is in fact infrared radiation. This may mean the caveman was the first users of infrared cooking.
The fast even cooking range infrared grill does not even require that frozen food be unfrozen out before cooking. This makes infrared griddle essentially quite a timesaver, and in today's high paced world this is a large plus point.
